Due date for GSTR-1 extended for select states

What changed

Taxpayers registered in flood-affected districts across select states have been granted a 7-day extension for filing GSTR-1 for the June return period.

Who qualifies

The extension applies to GSTINs with a principal place of business registered in the notified districts. Eligibility is checked automatically based on registration address.

Late fee waiver

For eligible taxpayers who file within the extended window, the late fee that would normally apply has been waived in full.
